Google has announced that it is launching its popular paid streaming subscription YouTube Premium and the in-demand YouTube Music Premium in more countries. YouTube Premium will now be available in 25 countries while YouTube Music Premium can be enjoyed in 21 global markets when the services are made available.
YouTube Premium was launched in June as ‘YouTube Red’ and provides access to high quality video streaming that’s free of any advertisement. According to Google, these services will be rolled out in Ukraine, Switzerland, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Japan, and Portugal, shortly.
While a subscription for YouTube Premium will cost users $11.99 per month, they will have to pay $9.99 per month for accessing YouTube Music Premium. The package covers the whole of the earlier catalogue known as Google Play Music as well as live performances, exclusive covers and mixes from YouTube.
Music lovers who do not their music to be interrupted by ads can subscribe to the ad-free Music Premium and enjoy uninterrupted music with offline streaming features.
The YouTube Premium subscription also offers the same benefits as Music Premium. It also provides an ad-free experience across all of YouTube's videos. Subscribers can enjoy access to exclusive content on these channels.
YouTube Premium also includes Music Premium and also offers the whole range of YouTube experience including background and offline playback. Subscribers can have exclusive access to the YouTube original series.
