There are many factors to consider when it comes to the structure of your web page in regards to SEO, including the structure of your URL. If you’re new to the SEO game, you may be wondering “What’s the best format to use?” In this week’s Ask An SEO Expert feature, Beth Corneglio, SEO Consultant at Slingshot SEO, will explain what dynamic URLs are and whether or not they play a role in your SEO efforts.
Hey. Lorrie had a question about dynamic URL’s and if they have SEO value. So, something that’s not dynamic, obviously, it’s spelled out, one that is a bunch of jargon and numbers usually. So, one that, in this case is not dynamic, incorporates keywords and entices click-through rates, and it also gives trust back to that URL.
So someone is more inclined to click on something if the URL is spelled out to them and is not dynamic. One that has numbers and jargon, usually people aren’t willing to click on it. It’s usually a lot longer. So, really, yes, the answer is yes. You can optimize URL structure and you should. So, good luck.
